Community Building

We have made Community our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day. Through Community, together Young Adults with Autism, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities can connect and engage with each other and feel a sense of belonging. For their loved ones, the healing from regret and guilt can begin and uplift the soul. The motto: "Improving the quality of lives today, tomorrow, making it better than yesterday!"

What's the Why behind the story? Little did I know that twenty years ago the big idea and purpose behind starting E3.AI began with the birth of my son Dylan. You see Dylan was diagnosed with Autism when he was eight years old. His diagnosis helped to connect the dots in what up until that time was marked by him not having any friends, not being invited to birthday parties, inviting his classmates to his birthday party with no one attending, and being voted off the 'island' in playground games thereby sitting alone watching while his classmates played recess games without him.

What Changed? Throughout his childhood, adolescence, and teenager years, Dylan was teased, bullied, and excluded. Then in 2022, at the age of 18 years old Dylan was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a type of cancer that would require him to go through six months of chemotherapy. By August 2022, he was cancer-free. Seeing what he had to overcome in his twenty years of his life has changed me in finding my purpose. He is my inspiration and in October 2023, E3.AI was formed as a Public Benefit Corporation with the social impact mission serving an unmet need in this world of providing positive benefits for young adults who are on the Autism Spectrum.
